Scania Sweden AB is a company within the Scania Group and a distributor of Scania's products and services in the Swedish market. Scania Sweden is responsible for a wide range of products and services including sales and service through a dealer network with around 90 Scania facilities and 2,000 employees, of which nearly 1,000 people are in the own dealership operations in the metropolitan regions of Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, as well as in Gävleborg, Dalarna, Södermanland, and Västmanland. The headquarters is located in Stockholm, Kungens Kurva. In 2024, Scania Sweden registered 2,554 heavy vehicles, achieving a market share of 48.8%, the highest figure in modern times.
Scania Sweden is in an exciting and eventful time! We lead the market and have a fantastic product and service program in our portfolio. At the same time, we have decided to lead the shift towards sustainable transport solutions. To succeed in this, we need to ensure future competence development among our wholly-owned and private dealers.
Do you have a genuine interest in vehicle technology combined with a strong interest in pedagogy and communication? Can you explain complex products in a simple way and enjoy working with people? Then you have an excellent opportunity to apply for a position in our team!
In our dynamic environment, great flexibility is required, but also a genuine interest in developing and continuously improving how we train the organization. Primarily regarding the technical aspects but also in light of the digital everyday life we encounter and the ever-accelerating electrification development we face.
Your mission
As a trainer, you will deliver vehicle technical training for service technicians in Sweden in a pedagogical manner. You will need to continuously develop the training material with respect to pedagogy and product news. You will independently plan, organize, and conduct the training sessions.
You will be part of the Learning and Development group, and our main mission is to meet the need for continuous and structured competence development for our wholly-owned and private dealers.
We offer opportunities for development in pedagogical methods and support tools as well as technical competence development. You will collaborate with Technical Support and also Scania Academy, our global training organization.
Your profile
As a person, you have an inclusive working approach, you communicate easily, and you have the ability to lead others in small groups. Some of your strengths include being good at creating structure, having analytical skills, and enjoying collaboration. You embody a desire for what you do.
We believe you have technical high school qualifications, preferably in vehicles, with a couple of years of experience in the service market or in education. It is advantageous if your technical background is in electric drive technology or electrical engineering. To succeed in this role, you need to be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Who are we
We are a team of creative and skilled colleagues in competence development. Together, we help each other grow with the task and develop both personally and in our careers.
Scania offers
Benefits include wellness grants and the possibility of a company car.
